We provide Setters with a back office for keeping track of their homeowners. They can also follow the progress of sales generated from their referrals there. Setters also get a website with their info to share with homeowners and give them additional credibility. Additionally, there are professionally produced marketing videos, scripts to assist them in conversations, and more. Keep in mind that there is no cost to start working with REACH Solar and no cost for the back office, website and other tools provided.
How Do We Pay Our Setters?
You might assume that the time to do what’s listed above is nominal and therefore you couldn’t expect much in return. It’s true that it takes about 90 minutes of your time and that’s if you attend the presentation. But we do pay well for the effort.
Please note that every system is customized for the home and for the consumption and desires of the homeowner. For example, systems can range in size from around 4 kW to over 20 kW. Therefore, every sale is going to have a different commission amount attached to it.
The examples I’m going to share below are based on a conservative estimate on a solar sale of about $8,000 in commissionable revenue. This is after the hard costs for the installation are paid.
Sale #1- 10% or $800
Sale #2- 12% or $960
Sale #3- 14% or $1,120
Sale #4- 16% or $1,280
Sale #5 and all sales thereafter- 18% or $1,440
Let’s assume for a moment that the average commission is $1,000 for the effort. That equates to over $650 per hour. Is that appealing to you?
